SWEET!!! Looks sharp my man!?
Why the stones?
Josh!
Stones - I used them sometimes as a filler, like when making bases heavier. This way, when painted as stone, it feels like stone. Hellboy bust is pretty heavy...
:-)
This time I was just a little bit short of mixed resin (165 milliliters turned out to be a little bit less than needed to fill the mould), so I just dropped some stones in to fill it.
I'm at work now, but I have another casting waiting at home... :-)
I hope to start painting in the next couple of days!...
Woo Hoo!! Tye books went out via UPS, and I'll get a tracking number for you today. You should get them in a week or so.
J!!
C o o l !
:-)
I should spend the next days with "How To Train Your Dragon" book I got today (it's gorgeous!) and with painting the first Liz... I hope second copy inside the mould at home is ok and I can start working on it tomorrow.
If I find time then I'll try to start new mould for Ilsa, so I should have something to post to you soon. I don't know who I want to see finished first, Liz or Ilsa... :-)
