Wow, the last posting with "Abe Sapien" label is from the last December...
I "peeled off" all the polymer clay from my Abe Sapien, so I got it to the same "skeleton" state it was when I started long time ago.
It's just that I didn't like the statue and it was sad to waste a perfectly good armature.
It's interesting to look some of the old photos of my Abe statue and to see, how it looked back then. With the face and all... But that was then and now is now. I started over and will post better pictures when I have something to show. At the moment I'm just trying to get the overall silhouette right. I like the new shoulders and the new curved torso much more.
Now - how many toes actually Abe Sapien has? Five or two? Any scales? I can't say I could see the answers on the reference I have...

Man, I'm jalous of your sculpting talent.
Oh, thanks!
:-)
If I'd only know how to get faster and what to do with this skill...
And, I wish I could draw better...
:-)
You mean sculpting is not your job ? Looking at your pieces, they look like professionnal work.
No, it's not. I've done 2 commissioned statues, one for a person in Sweden (hi, Jakob!) and one for advertising company here, but that's it. I'd love to have more time, skills and inspiration for sculpting, both from clay and with ZBrush...
